The ISR Method
A body-led approach to release, recalibration, and reconnection
Integrated Somatic Recalibration™ is a body-led method that works with the nervous system, breath, movement, touch, and sensory awareness.
Rather than pushing the body toward a predetermined outcome, ISR listens for what is present and supports the conditions in which release, recalibration, and reconnection can happen naturally.
Rooted in safety, presence, and respect for the body’s timing, each experience unfolds responsively—allowing the work to meet the person rather than requiring the person to fit the method.

Why I Created ISR
Integrated Somatic Recalibration™ emerged through years of listening closely to the body.
I began to recognize that the body does not always need more pressure, more intensity, or another technique imposed upon it. Often, it needs to feel safe enough to move out of protection, reveal what it has been carrying, and respond in its own way.
ISR grew from that understanding. It brings together the many ways I have learned to work: with touch, movement, breath, sound, energy, and presence...without separating them into fixed techniques. The method allows me to respond to the whole person and to what the body is communicating in the moment.
It was created to offer a more attentive and integrated way of working: one that does not force release, but creates the conditions for meaningful change to unfold from within.
The Guiding Principles of ISR
These principles guide the way each ISR experience is held, allowing the work to remain attentive, responsive, and centered on the person receiving it.
Nervous System Safety First
The body responds differently when it feels supported. Each experience is guided by consent, choice, comfort, and respectful pacing, creating the conditions for the nervous system to settle and the body to become more receptive to change.
Somatic
Listening
The body communicates in many ways, often before words are available. Changes in breath, movement, tension, stillness, and energy are received as meaningful information. By listening to these cues, the work responds to what is present moment by moment rather than assuming what the body needs.
Energetic Density Release
Experiences may remain within the body as heaviness, compression, or a feeling that something is difficult to move or name. Through attuned touch, breath, movement, sound, and presence, ISR supports these areas in becoming less fixed and more fluid. The process is not forced or interpreted; the system is given room to reorganize in its own time.
Intuitive Sequencing
Each element of the session is introduced with intention. The placement, pace, and progression of the work are guided by what becomes apparent as the experience develops. As one area changes, the session follows the next point of invitation, allowing each part to connect meaningfully with the whole.
Integration Over Intensity
ISR does not measure effectiveness by how dramatic or intense a session feels. Time is given for rest, reflection, and the gradual assimilation of what has been experienced. This allows the work to become embodied and carried into everyday life rather than remaining a powerful moment that quickly passes.
When ISR May Be Supportive
ISR may be especially meaningful when:
• What you are carrying feels deeper than physical tension alone.
• You feel disconnected from yourself or uncertain about what you need.
• You are moving through grief, emotional fatigue, transition, or a period of inner change.
• Previous approaches have felt too structured, intense, or limited to one aspect of your experience.
• You are drawn to care that recognizes the physical, emotional, mental, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of being.
You do not need to arrive with a clear explanation or a specific outcome in mind. The experience begins by meeting you exactly where you are.

Not Sure Where To Start?
You do not need to know which experience to choose or have the right words for what you are feeling. A conversation can help clarify what feels most supportive and where we might begin.
The body carries a wisdom beyond words.
ISR offers a way to listen more closely, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity.
